How to Quit Sugar For Good with 5 Steps

Have you ever wanted to stop eating sugar but it had been a struggle to really quit sugar? If so, you are in the perfect place, my goddess friend.

Because on my personal journey, I’ve completely quit eating sugar (Except when I am dining out🍽) and I am very excited to show you how to do it. Are you excited? Let’s begin.

Hi gorgeous friend, how are you? Today, I am so excited to talk about how to stop eating sugar with 5 simple steps and if you want to, this is applicable to anything you want to stop eating something like wheat (gluten) caffeine, alcohol, or any particular food that is not serving you. I have used this method which I am about to introduce to you for everything to eliminate foods that my body did not love. So let’s get started.

1. Take your time

The first step is take your time. Eliminating sugar on a daily basis is actually true self love & care for yourself, especially for the long term.

As human beings, we are conditioned to seek quick fast dopamine hits especially in this massive digital era however let’s acknowledge that you are doing this for the sake of your true health, beauty, and vitality so no pressure on yourself, and take your time with compassion and grace.

You don’t have to go straight into all or nothing, you can reduce the amount little by little and you don’t need to stress unnecessarily, especially when you go out for dinner.

First and foremost, acknowledge yourself, you are doing this for yourself with love. you are stepping into the most beautiful version of yourself. How gorgeous.

2. Listen to your body

The second step is listen to your body. Most of the time, if we are not mindful, we don’t know the actual difference between what the body needs and what the brain wants when it comes to food. And so when you want to quit sugar, it is a must to listen to your body.

When your brain is craving for some sugary food and tends to go to eat something that does not serve you, instead of reaching and eating it, you can always stop, take a breath, and ask yourself what you really need and what you truly want at this moment.

It is said that we often reach for a certain food because we don’t want to feel any discomfort or negative emotions.

If you keep asking yourself, what you need and what you want truly from your heart, you will be able to cure and heal the core.

Also, to practice listening to your body, especially when you want to quit sugar because you want to improve your health and skin condition, it is great to keep a journal every time you eat sugar. What does your body feel like when you eat it and after you eat it?

When you want to stop eating sugar, please remember to always practice listening to your body, not your brain.

3. Use pain and pleasure principle / Change identity

Step number three is use pain and pleasure principle and change identity.

This is the most important practical part of all the steps. You can truly use this method to say goodbye to sugar or any particular food you don’t want.

Imagine yourself and write down:
What will be the consequence if you continue eating sugar, physically, especially for the skin?
If you don’t stop eating sugar, how it will affect your beauty?
Does this food really make you beautiful from the inside out?
How would you be so beautiful if you quit having sugar physically and mentally?

Using your beautiful imagination is always the ultimate solution. So, if you focus on having the pain of having sugar and gaining the pleasure of quitting sugar, I promise you as you practice, you will master it.

Also, identifying the woman you want to be with incantation is very very helpful. If you haven’t heard it, incantation is so much more powerful than affirmation. I learned from Mr. Tony Robbins that incantation is truly using your body and voice tone to believe from the core. If you want to learn more, you can read about it from here.

I love myself so much that I only input the best and highest quality into my body, mind, and spirit.

4. Find the alternatives

Step number four is find the alternatives. It is always great to have alternatives during on your sugar-elimination journey. From my personal experience, I used to use organic beet sugar or agave syrup for baking vegan cookies or cakes but once I felt like this was not very healthy and I found out that beet sugar could also be GMO so I truly practiced step 3 and I shifted to amazing alternatives such as organic maple syrup and coconut sugar little by little.

By the way, please always stay away from refined white sugar for the sake of your beautiful body, mind, spirit, and animals, as it is said that refined sugar uses cow bones.

The best & most beautiful alternative is fruit. Fruits are the most nutritious food on this planet and the body loves them so much.

5. Keep treating yourself like a goddess💕

The final step is keep treating yourself as a goddess. You are so beautiful. So, keep nourishing and feeding your body, mind, and spirit like a goddess. Keep expanding your beautiful imagination and you can visualize the most beautiful version of yourself. How does she eat? How does she behave? She is already within you.

Saying goodbye to sugar is not depriving you of something. It is true self-love to become the best version of yourself.

As you reduce sugar, your taste buds will be restored to the most natural and it is great to educate yourself, especially with the food you eat because every input is going to make you. The food you eat impacts you physically, emotionally, mentally, and having beautiful colorful fresh organic veggies and fruits always keeps you so much energy and vibrant from the inside out.
