A little heads up: this is not medical advice. It is just my personal experience and what worked for me. Please feel free to try it if it resonates with you. Relax and enjoy reading this article until the end. Let’s start💖

1. Wheat/Gluten

The first thing you want to consider to stop eating for having beautiful skin is wheat. I used to love cookies and cakes, especially when I first became vegan. I was thrilled to find vegan cookies and cakes! However, it’s important to pay attention to how your body and skin react after eating certain foods. Eliminating wheat and gluten helped clear my skin significantly.

2. Caffeine

The second thing you want to consider to stop eating for having beautiful skin is caffeine. One day after becoming completely plant-based for a couple of years, I was introduced Medical Medium by Mr. Anthony Williams and I understood why my body didn’t like it too much chocolate or matcha.

I highly recommend the Medical Medium podcast if this resonates with you. It’s been a great resource for me.

The fourth thing is refined sugar. Sugar is everywhere, and I believe it’s not healthy for the skin. I have a specific video on how to quit sugar, please check it out if you’re interested.

5. Oils

The fifth thing is vegetable oils such as canola oil can be GMO, and palm oil is harmful to both the skin and the environment.

6. Soy

7. Corn

Of course, I am not 100% aligned with Medical Medium because they can use honey and here I am not saying you need to eliminate those food completely for have beautiful skin because of everyone’s body and journal is completely different.

So, here are 3 practical steps I am going to introduce to you.

1. Keep a Food Journal

  • Track what you eat and how it affects your skin and body.

2. Listen to Your Body

  • Pay attention to how your body feels, not just what your brain tells you. Have food whenever you are truly hungry.

3. Change Your Mindset

  • View these food changes as nourishing your body with true love rather than depriving or restricting yourself.

Conclusion

Having beautiful, clear skin and real vitality comes from a combination of what we eat and our overall well-being. Pay attention to your body and what it needs. Remember, your body is always working for you not against to you.
